Who needs to appoint an DGSA?
The obligation to appoint an DGSA (Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser) applies to every company in Poland whose activities include transport, packaging, loading, filling, unloading, as well as sending dangerous goods and for which transport the vehicle must be marked in accordance with the ADR agreement. Even if the company meets these conditions only once a year, at least one DGSA is required. This also applies to packaging, loading, filling or unloading during such transport.
In some cases it is possible to benefit from ADR exclusions.
If you or your partner perform any activities related to dangerous goods in Poland and you are not sure if you should appoint DGSA – feel free to contact me.
